This past weekend we visited Oxford, which I was very excited about because this is where they filmed Harry Potter! (or at least some of it) Oxford was definitely a cute little town, and you can tell they are all about the school, which shows how proud they are, especially with all the stores selling everything Oxford. We so happened to go while the students were in their final exams which I thought was strange because you would think they wouldn't let tourists go in during an important time such as testing. I learned a few other things while we were there such as that the creator of Alice in Wonderland was a professor at Oxford and modeled the story around the town. His name was Lewis Carol and he actually based Alice on the daughter of the Dean of Oxford who happened to be a good friend of his. I think this shows his artistic expression very well because he was inspired by this little town to write this story that is now a famous Disney movie. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip as well, being the HP nerd that I am! ;P
